What separates admitted students is a compelling, coherent story — a profile built with intention over years, not months. The Super-Selective program starts earlier than our Intensive Support program, specifically to give your student that runway.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Super-Selective program includes 30 hours of coaching and 48 rounds of essay feedback — compared to 20 hours and 36 rounds in Intensive Support. More importantly, it’s designed to start earlier. Sophomores and juniors working with us from the beginning of the process have time to shape their extracurricular profile, build their academic narrative, and approach applications with a strategic advantage that later-starting students can’t replicate. If your student’s target list includes schools with acceptance rates below 15–20%, this program is built for that.

You’ll schedule sessions either through your coach’s personal booking link, available in the student’s Soar dashboard, or directly with your coach after the first session. Sessions are 30 minutes and held monthly via Zoom. Learn more about making the most of your work with LifeLaunchr.

We ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule — you can do this by emailing your coach, using your email confirmation, or via the calendar invite. Life happens, and we’re flexible. Unused sessions don’t roll over, so we encourage families to reschedule rather than skip when possible.

The ideal time to start Intensive Support is the beginning of junior year — early enough to shape course selection, finalize your extracurricular story, and approach essays with plenty of runway. That said, we regularly work with families who start later in junior year or even at the beginning of senior year. We’re experienced at prioritizing effectively when time is short. Essay coaching is the core of what makes LifeLaunchr different. We use a structured multi-step process: first helping your student identify the right topics and angles, then working through drafts using our proprietary essay tools and courses. Your coach provides up to 36 rounds of detailed written feedback — enough to take 16–17 complete essays from first draft to final, including the personal statement, UC PIQs, and supplemental essays. Intensive Support fees are non-refundable, and we want to be transparent about why.

  • First, we limit enrollment, so every student we take on gets the attention they deserve. When we accept your family, we’re reserving coach time and turning away other families who could have had that spot. That commitment runs both ways.
  • Second — and just as important — we never want our coaches to feel any pressure to tell families what they want to hear. Our job is to give you honest guidance, even when the honest answer isn’t the most comfortable one. A refund policy that depends on your satisfaction would work against that.
