LifeLaunchr’s Intensive Support program is designed specifically for juniors and seniors working on college applications. It offers a structured, step-by-step process where we guide students through every stage of their application journey. It helps them choose majors, build meaningful college lists, brainstorm, draft, and revise application essays, and maximize financial aid and scholarships.

Comprehensive, Personalized College Admissions Guidance
Customized Plans Based on Intensively-Researched Templates
Students receive a personalized admissions plan tailored to their needs, ensuring all aspects of the college process are well-organized.
Expert Coaching from Credentialed Coaches
With up to 20 hours of expert – usually weekly – consultations, parents and students benefit from one-on-one guidance by a credentialed coach. These consultations are driven by the plan our coach creates with you, and help you stay on track, monitor progress, and develop ideas.
Extensive Essay Support
LifeLaunchr’s essay process helps students brainstorm ideas, come up with themes and topics, generate initial drafts, and discuss them with their coaches. When an essay is on the right track, they submit it for review and get detailed written feedback. The program includes up to 36 detailed essay reviews, helping students craft standout personal statements and supplemental essays.
Comprehensive College and Career Guidance
Students get help with major and career planning, college selection, and financial aid, as well as test planning and interview preparation.

LifeLaunchr provides valuable tools like College Match™ and Scholarship Match™ to help identify the best-fit schools and financial opportunities. This package also includes LifeLaunchr’s CommonApp personal statement and University of California Personal Insight Question courses.

- Administer aptitude and interest, character strengths, and other assessments
- Work through LifeLaunchr’s major exploration exercises
- Identify potential majors and careers
Standardized Test Planning
- Review practice test scores and create a testing strategy for SAT, ACT, AP, or other exams
- Recommend tutoring/coaching as needed
- Plan for other required tests
Letters of Recommendation
- Help identify teachers/counselors/mentors to write recommendations
- Provide advice on requesting recommendations
Financial Aid and Scholarships
- Advise students to create initial cost estimates and budget for college
- Review net price calculator results for each college application
- Provide assistance in filling out FAFSA and CSS/Profile
- Advise on applying to college scholarships as appropriate
Ongoing Checkins
- Review acceptances and offers
- Help with requests on college portals for outstanding documents
College Research and List Development
- Use tools to help understand student’s educational priorities and goals
- Help create an initial list of 20-25 colleges
- Help research colleges and specific programs
- Plan college visits
- Create a college visit checklist
- Build a final college list of 10-12 colleges that balances target, likely, and reach schools
Essay Brainstorming, Drafting, and Finalization
- Help identify potential essay topics and themes
- Use the LifeLaunchr essay courses and tools to help create initial drafts of personal statements, UC PIQs, and supplemental essays
- Refine and edit drafts to generate a final essay
- Create a list of supplemental essay prompts and college-specific essays
- Plan, revise, and finalize additional essays
Resumé and Activities List Development
- Help draft and finalize resumé and activities lists for applications using LifeLaunchr’s proprietary tools and coach’s input
Application Guidance
- Guide the student in filling out CommonApp and state college applications like the UC and CSU applications
Interview Preparation
- Create an interview practice checklist with student
- Do a mock interview session if needed

Cost
The Intensive Support program costs US $5,795, paid one time at the beginning of the program. We limit enrollments to ensure quality.
Meetings are usually thirty (30) minutes long and held weekly, although the exact schedule depends on what is needed and student and coach schedules.
It is intended for juniors and seniors in high school.

Package Details
The Intensive Support program includes 20 hours of work done by our coach, which includes meeting time, time doing research, and other work. Emails that require minimal (less than five minutes) effort to respond to are not counted.
The Intensive Support program includes 36 detailed written reviews of essays. Our essay development process involves many steps, including brainstorming and initial drafts that are discussed during meetings. The limit applies to drafts that receive written feedback. Additional hours of coaching are available for $225/hour ($112.50 per 30-minute meeting). Additional reviews cost $55 per detailed written review or $600 for a (non-refundable) pack of 12.
