Stay on Track is designed for students in 8th, 9th, and 10th grade who want to approach high school with intention. Whether your teen is still figuring out their interests or already aiming at selective colleges, this program gives them the structure, guidance, and expert coaching to make the most of every year.

Students who start planning in 9th or 10th grade arrive at junior year with stronger transcripts, clearer goals, and a real head start on the competition.

What’s Included

  • One 30-minute coaching session per month via Zoom with a credentialed, NACAC-affiliated coach.
  • A personalized planning roadmap tailored to your teen’s goals, interests, and timeline.
  • Full access to Soar, our college and career planning platform, which helps students, counselors, and parents stay connected and work together.
  • Personality and aptitude assessments using Soar to help students find their strengths.
  • Help with course selection, extracurriculars, and summer planning to ensure the student’s profile is optimized.
  • Guidance in choosing majors and career directions using our tools, as well as expert advice.
  • Homework and writing assignments that help students develop a voice and tell their story effectively.
  • Upgrade credit towards the Intensive Support or Super-Selective coaching packages if you switch partway through the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll schedule sessions directly through your coach’s personal booking link, which is available through the student’s Soar dashboard. Sessions are 30 minutes and held monthly via Zoom. We recommend booking your next session at the end of each meeting, so you always have one on the calendar. Learn more about making the most of your work with LifeLaunchr.

We ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule — you can do this by emailing your coach, using your email confirmation, or via the calendar invite. Life happens, and we’re flexible. Unused sessions don’t roll over, so we encourage families to reschedule rather than skip when possible.

Yes, and we’ve made it straightforward. If your student moves to our Intensive Support or Super-Selective program at any point during the year, we’ll credit any unused months of Stay on Track toward the new package. Many of our families start in 9th or 10th grade and transition when they’re ready for full junior-year support.

Yes, some of our most successful students start in 8th grade. The earlier your teen begins thinking about high school coursework, extracurriculars, and long-term goals, the more options they’ll have. We’ll meet your student where they are and build from there.

Stay on Track fees are non-refundable, and we want to be transparent about why.

  • First, we limit enrollment, so every student we take on gets the attention they deserve. When we accept your family, we’re reserving coach time and turning away other families who could have had that spot. That commitment runs both ways.
  • Second — and just as important — we never want our coaches to feel any pressure to tell families what they want to hear. Our job is to give you honest guidance, even when the honest answer isn’t the most comfortable one. A refund policy that depends on your satisfaction would work against that.

Families are never under any obligation to continue on to our Intensive Support, Super-Selective, or any other program. But fees paid for Stay on Track are non-refundable.
